BIM-EDIT/XP may be customized in a variety of ways.

 

The name(s) by which commands or procedures are invoked may be customized. See Command Definition Table.

 

Any command string can be assigned to any valid key combination.  When the key combination is pressed, the assigned command string is issued.  See Keys help to get started quickly.  See Key Assignment Table for a more comprehensive description.

 

BIM-EDIT/XP can concurrently interface to any number of host BIM-EDIT systems. For information on how to make BIM-EDIT/XP aware of these host systems, see Workstation/Host Communications via LU 6.2 or Workstation/Host Communications via TCP/IP.

 

Menus may be customized. See Menu Definition Table and Popup Menu Definition Table.
