Virtually all information concerning BIM-EDIT/XP is provided through the Help facility. The Help facility is invoked by:
Selecting one of the items in the Help menu.
Entering on the command line a command in the format:
=> help <subj>
where <subj> is a subject, usually a command name or short variation. (See the Help command for more information.)
Clicking on the "Help" pushbutton on a dialog display.
You can navigate through the Help facility by:
Double clicking on words or phrases where linkage is defined (usually recognizable by a special color, probably blue by default).
Clicking on the "Previous" pushbutton. This will cause you to return to the previous help panel.
Clicking on the "Search" pushbutton. After the search completes, you can select one of the help panels where the search string was found.
Clicking on the "Index" pushbutton. You can then select an item from the index.
