BIM-EDIT/XP maintains three LU 6.2 sessions between a workstation and a host system.  A sub-task at the workstation waits for input from the host on the second LU 6.2 session.  The infrastructure allows the host to drive operations at the workstation without operator intervention at the workstation.  (Since this facility requires a multi-tasking operating system at the workstation, operations described here are not supported under Windows 3.1.)

The following commands can be issued in a BIMUTIL job stream running on a host system to transfer data from the host to the workstation:
