Use Exclude to set the exclusion state on for a specified group of lines. (See Exclusion Facility.)
Exclude may also be entered as Excl[ude].
The group of lines can be specified by pre-selecting the lines (see Selection) or by using the FCT operand. If neither a pre-selection or FCT operand is provided, the group of lines consists solely of the current line.
Optional Operands
FCT specifies the number of lines to exclude. If FCT is specified as an asterisk (*), all of the lines through the end of the session will be excluded.
Default: 1.
Exclude may be invoked without operands by pressing Alt-E.
Exclude does not increment the exclusion level. Use the ExcludeNest command prior to issuing Exclude if you want the excluded lines to be at a new level.
Return Codes
OK Successful.
