Use HostDialogue to enter 3270 emulation mode.
HostDialogue may also be entered as HostDialog[ue], DialogueH[ost], DialogH[ost], or Dialog[ue].
HostDialogue has no operands.
3270 emulation mode causes BIM-EDIT/XP to function as if it was a 3270-type terminal attached to the host BIM-EDIT system. On rare occassions, this can be useful. The average user will not need to use this command. (3270 emulation mode is entered and exited automatically if a procedure running on the host BIM-EDIT system issues a MAPF command.)
To exit 3270 emulation mode, enter:
=> dialog
The exit function is handled by the host BIM-EDIT system as opposed to BIM-EDIT/XP. As such, it must be entered exactly as shown above.
Return Codes
OK Successful.
