Use SystemCheckpoint to write control information to disk so that in the event of a system failure (e.g., a power outage), BIM-EDIT/XP can recover all system and session information upon restart.
SystemCheckpoint may also be entered as SysCheckpoint, CheckpointSys[tem], or Checkpoint.
SystemCheckpoint has no operands.
BIM-EDIT/XP automatically invokes SystemCheckpoint when:
a session is created.
a session is closed.
a certain amount of time has elapsed since the last SystemCheckpoint.
BIM-EDIT/XP is shut down.
