Use EditUndo to reverse the effect on the current session of the last command entered.
EditUndo may also be entered as Undo.
EditUndo may also be invoked by pressing Alt-Backspace.
EditUndo has no operands.
EditUndo may be entered repeatedly to roll back the session to some prior point.
EditUndo can be used to reverse any kind of operation against the session, not just update operations. For example, EditUndo might be used to reverse the effect of a Locate operation.
BIM-EDIT/XP implements EditUndo by maintaining an Undo Log for each session. Note that the Undo Log for a session is not checkpointed. Therefore, it is empty after a shutdown/restart operation.
The maximum size of the Undo Log for a session can be set by the iSessionAlter and SessionAlter commands. When the Undo Log is full, for each new line added at the end of the Undo Log, a line is deleted from the beginning of the Undo Log.
EditUndo reverses the last command entered. Compare with the EditRevert command.
Note that EditUndo does not roll back changes to the Clipboard that occur as a result of editing. EditUndo operates strictly against the session.
