Release 1.4C was completed on 04/15/96. The following are enhancements, changes, and fixes that occurred after Release 1.4B was made available.
Enhancements / Changes
BIM-EDIT/XP now is supported in the 32-bit Windows environments, i.e., in addition to running under OS/2, it will run under Windows 95 and Windows NT.
The auto-resequence option is now off by default. The McbAuSeq flag must be set on to activate auto-resequencing.
Fixes
Numerous problems relating to column, grid, and character selection have been corrected.
The EditInsertBlank command abended if invoked while a selection was active. Fixed.
The SessionAlter command failed to set the sequence control flag off when the sequence number was cleared, resulting in subsequent abends when new lines were entered in the session. Fixed.
The SessionAlter and FileAlter commands now accept "OFF" and "NO" for the SEQ operand.
The PageDown and PageUp commands when entered after commands such as SelectCursDown caused the selection to be extended. Fixed.
The undo log was not being cleared after a save of a host session. Fixed.
