Use ProxyAttach to assume another user's identity for the purposes of processing mail.
ProxyAttach may also be entered as ProxyAtt[ach], AttachProxy, AttProxy, AttachX, or AttX.
Optional Operands
USER is the user you wish to process mail for.
Default: Logon user ID. (In effect, you will revert to processing your own mail.)
After you have issued the ProxyAttach, all subsequent electronic mail commands will act upon the USER mail entries. You can issue MailLibrary, FileMail, ImmediateMail, MailList, and MailDelete on behalf of USER. However, the Mail indicator on the information line responds only to your own mail -- not to your proxy user's mail. ProxyAttach is reset by the next logon.
When Valid
The user issuing the ProxyAttach must have proxy access to USER. Proxy access is established with the ProxyDefine command and revoked with the ProxyDelete command.
Return Codes
OK Successful.
NF User not found.
SC Proxy access denied.
