BIM-EDIT/XP stores the following information for a workstation file:
Access flags (add, delete, update).
User defined attribute field.
Audit flag.
Case (upper or mixed).
Find column.
Heading lines.
Horizontal tabs (see Tabbing, horizontal).
Indent column.
LibDef value.
Maximum line width.
Nulls flag.
Protect attribute.
Sequence number column range.
Stamp flag.
Title or subject.
User.
Vertical tabs (see Tabbing, vertical).
Zones (see Zones).
workstation file attributes are stored as workstation extended attributes. For users that are writing programs to access workstation files created by BIM-EDIT/XP, extended attribute names and data formats are available on request.

No attributes are stored with PDS or VSE files
Since not all of the workstation file attributes are stored with BIM, PDS, or VSE files, when a workstation file is copied to a BIM, PDS, or VSE file, certain attributes will be lost.
